Transfer Certificate Guidelines
At Sri Krishna Matriculation Higher Secondary School, we follow a systematic and transparent process for issuing Transfer Certificates (TC) to ensure smooth transitions for students moving to other institutions.
đź“‹ General Procedure
A written application for Transfer Certificate must be submitted by the parent or guardian, addressed to the Principal, clearly stating the reason for withdrawal.
The application must include:
- Student’s full name
- Class and section
- Admission number
- Date from which the TC is required
🗓️ Notice Period
- A minimum of one week’s notice is required for processing the TC.
- TCs will not be issued on the same day as the application unless in emergency situations, with the Principal’s approval.
đź’µ Fee Clearance
No Transfer Certificate will be issued unless all school dues are cleared, including:
- Tuition fees
- Transport fees (if applicable)
- Library and laboratory dues
A no-due certificate must be obtained from the school office before the TC is issued.
🧾 Format & Delivery
- The TC will be issued in the prescribed format as per the Tamil Nadu Matriculation Board norms.
- It will be handed over to the parent or authorized guardian only. It will not be given directly to students.
đźš« Mid-Term Transfers
- Students seeking withdrawal mid-academic year must pay the full term fees before TC is granted.
- Transfer Certificates will not be issued for students facing disciplinary action, until cleared by the school authorities.
🔄 Re-admission
- If a student re-applies for admission after obtaining a TC, it will be treated as a new admission, subject to vacancy and approval.
đź“Ś Important Notes
- Parents are advised to apply for TC well in advance to avoid last-minute delays.
- In case of relocation or transfer of parent’s job, supporting documents may be requested.
- Duplicate TC will be issued only in genuine cases with an affidavit and proper verification.
